Who we are
The Museum Foundation of Hebbronville is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization that provides education, historical resources, and opportunities for its members, their children, families, and descendants with historic and well-documented facts about their town, their county, and their people. The foundation also selects historical sites in the county worth of restoring, repairing, or rebuilding, by applying for grants and funds for such endeavors. These sites may include historical places, cemeteries, plazas, and other places or buildings.

The Jim Hogg County Historical Commission has earned the Distinguished Service Award (DSA) for our outstanding work in 2024. This marks the 14th year in a row that our historical commission has been honored with this special recognition for our efforts in preserving our local history.

The Jim Hogg County Historical Commission is an officially designated office within Jim Hogg County whose purpose is to preserve the places that tell the real stories of Texas and its architectural, archeological, and cultural landmarks.
